Hurricane Dolly to hit Texas,Mexico



The Hurricane Dolly is heading towards the U.S.-Mexico border and the heavily populated Rio Grande Valley & it is expected to cause heavy rains,massive flooding and levee breaks.Tropical Storm Dolly has grown into a Category One hurricane as it moves across the Gulf of Mexico towards the US-Mexican border with sustained winds near 75 mph.In Mexico officials planned to evacuate 23,000 people to government shelters in Matamoros, Soto La Marina and San Fernando.Texas officials urged residents to move away from the Rio Grande levees because if Dolly continues to follow the same path as 1967's Hurricane Beulah.The United States is being hit by many storms and the Hurricane Katrina caused a devastating effect in the previous years.The Governor of Texas, Rick Perry, has put 1,200 National Guard troops and other emergency crews on alert.
